The Kings Mail and National Addressing Act 2026 comes into force on Tuesday 29 September 2026.
The Act sets up Kings Mail and the National Address Directory. It also gives you new rights:
- to ask for an address to be corrected or reviewed
- to get notice if your address is going to change
- to use Kings Mail without needing to go online
- to have a complaint looked at by the independent Postal Standards Commissioner
Existing addresses stay valid. You don't need to do anything.
