The laws that apply to Kings Mail and to this website, and what they mean for you.
Kings Mail and National Addressing Act 2026 (KMNA)
The law that sets up Kings Mail and the National Address Directory. For you, it means:
- The directory only holds what's needed to deliver post, never personal details about the people who live or work at an address (s.3C).
- You can ask for an address to be corrected or reviewed, and you'll get notice if your address is going to change in a material way (s.3C).
- Nobody can be refused ordinary postal service because they can't use digital services. You can always use paper, the phone or a post office (s.5A).
- An independent Postal Standards Commissioner monitors standards and can look at complaints (s.5B).
- Kings Mail publishes yearly figures on its service (s.5C).
- Legal post is confidential and always signed for (s.4B(a)).
- Existing streets and house numbers that don't follow the new rules stay valid (s.3B(c)).
- Obtaining protected directory information without authority is an offence (s.6B).

Sets out what happens during a period of national mourning. While one is declared, this website shows a mourning banner at the top of every page.

Constitution of the Constitutional Monarchy of Links Land
Establishes the monarchy, with the King or Queen as Head of State, and Tentincon as the capital. Whether the service is called Kings Mail or Queens Mail follows the reigning monarch.
