How to address your post
Writing the address clearly and in the right order helps your post arrive on time.
Post within Links Land
Write each part on its own line, in this order:
- the person's or organisation's name
- the flat, if there is one, for example Flat 2
- the building name, if it has one
- the house number and street, for example 8 Valinda Road
- the town
- the postcode, for example T1 04

Odd numbers are on the left and even numbers on the right as you walk away from the town centre. If you're not sure of a postcode, find the address first.
Post from outside Links Land
Write the address the same way, then add the region on its own line if it's different from the town, and finish with Links Land in capital letters or on its own line:

Links Land
Post to Tentincon Palace
Tentincon Palace has its own postcode, T1, with nothing after it. It has no street or number. Write:

From outside Links Land, add Links Land as the last line.
Legal post
Legal post is addressed in the same way. Mark the envelope Legal and hand it in at a post office counter so it can be signed for. Find out more about Legal post.
